ABOUT THE CLUB

San Diego Fencing Center is located in the beautiful, diverse city of Escondido, Calif., about 30 minutes north of downtown San Diego, and is conveniently located off Interstate 15.

Saul and Victoria Mendoza founded San Diego Fencing Center in 2005 to share their passion for the sport with aspiring and experienced fencers of all ages. Saul Mendoza is an Olympic fencer who represented his native Bolivia in the 1984 Summer Games.

In 2016, Juan Ignacio Calderón joined the team as co-owner and Head Coach helping to share the SDFC Way.

At SDFC, you will work with a highly qualified and internationally experienced coaching and administrative team. The center features a high-tech sports floor and equipment, with performance and safety in mind.

San Diego County is currently in the yellow tier.
During this period we follow youth sport guidelines with limited indoor capacity for existing members.

We start a small beginner's group every month on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5:30 pm for children between 8 and 12.
